The Summer Pops

With the new Liverpool Echo Arena 10,000 seat stadium nearing completion at the Albert Docks, next years Summer Pops festival is one to look forward to. The Summer Pops has attracted some of the music industry's legends since its initial staging in 2001. Previous line-ups have included BOB DYLAN, PAUL SIMON, ELTON JOHN, ERIC CLAPTON, BRYAN ADAMS, MEAT LOAF, RAY CHARLES, TOM JONES, SHIRLEY BASSEY, THE THREE TENORS, LIONEL RICHIE, TONY BENNETT, DIANA ROSS, JAMES BROWN, THE WHO and PAUL WELLER to name but a few. Once again, book our Liverpool apartments early for these events.

Football

Liverpool is able to provide the world with two Premiership teams for the beautiful game, Liverpool F.C. and Everton F.C.. The teams are fanatically supported and home games always guarantee entertainment both during the game and in the city centre afterwards. With Anfield and Goodison Park being closely situated to the city centre both are easily accessible via a taxi or walking if you so choose.

For those of you who support the teams across the border, Manchester United and Manchester City, our apartments are situated within easy access of the main train routes from Lime Street, National coach service or motorway networks into Manchester, which can allow you the benefit of enjoying the game in Manchester and the evening in Liverpool.

Horse Racing - Aintree

The Grand National

The Jewel in the Crown of the jump season calendar is held at Aintree racecourse starting on the 3rd of April for race goers from far and wide. The 4th of April brings the glamour of ladies day and the three day event climaxes with the John Smith’s Grand National on the 5th of April.

Chester

Once the jump calendar finishes the flat racing starts. Racing begins with the three day May Festival putting Chester in the racing spotlight nationally. After May, another 11 days / evenings of racing are on offer throughout the summer totalling 14 race days / evenings during the season. Each fixture has its own unique identity to ensure a wide-ranging appeal. The Midsummer Meeting on Friday 27th (Eve) and Saturday 28th June and Sunday Funday on 3rd August are geared towards encouraging families to enjoy the races; the Dressed to Impress evenings and the July Friday evening / Saturday heighten the hugely social and fashionable components of a visit to the races.

Haydock

Haydock racecourse has the ability to provide racing all year round with its dual purpose track for jump and flat racing. With 30 race meetings during the year, it is a great day out for all the family.

Golf

This year the 137th Golf Open Championship will be held at Royal Birkdale between the 17th and 20th of July. This hugely popular event will be well attended by golf lovers and celebrities. Set among the beautiful wooded area and sand dunes of Ainsdale’s National Trust Red Squirrel Reserve, the course can be accessed via the local rail network, or by a 25minute taxi/car ride to Ainsdale.

Tennis

Every year the Liverpool tennis tournament is held at Caulderstones Park. This year the event is being held between the 10th and 15th of June. In previous years numerous stars of the game have visited the tournament, with both Greg Rusedski and Bjorn Borg being amongst them last year. Come and enjoy your strawberries and cream whilst watching top rate tennis in beautiful surroundings.

The Albert Dock

The Grand National

Situated in the largest group of Grade I listed buildings in the UK, the Albert Dock houses many award winning visitor attractions including Tate Liverpool, the famous Beatles Story, Merseyside Maritime Museum and the new International Slavery Museum. Fútbol

Liverpool es capaz de proporcionar al mundo dos primeros equipos de la Presidencia para este hermoso juego, el Liverpool FC Y Everton F.C. Carreras de Caballos - Aintree

The Grand National

La Joya de la Corona es la temporada del almanaque de salto que se lleva a cabo en el hipódromo en Aintree, a partir del 3 de abril para los aficionados en carreras a todo lo largo y ancho. Fussball

The Anfield und der Goodison Park liegen in der Nähe des Zentrum der Stadt. Alle beide lassen sich bequem zu Fuss erlaufen oder man kann ein Taxi nehmen.

Für Fussballbegeister, die die Manchester United und die Manchester City unter_ sützen, stehen unsere apartments zur Verfügung, die sich nicht weit von den hauptverkehrsnetz befinden. Jedes Jahr fängt am 3. April die Hauptsaison der Pferderennen Das Juwelkröne Für die Liebhaber des ganzen Landes in der Pferderennenbahn Aintree an. Und Am 4.April I beginnt der glaumourose Tag der Damen,der drei Tagen dauert. Dann am nächsten Tag,der 05.feiert man der John Smith’s Grand National.

Chester

Gleich nach dem Schluss der Rennen ohne Hinderniss fängt man die Modalität mit Hinderniss an. Damit steht Chester im Aufmerksamkeit von allen änhnlichen Ereignissen die auf dem ganzen Land stattgefunden werden. Diese Pferderennen_ saison geht während des ganzen Sommers weiter und fängt mit den drei Tagen vom Mai-Festival. Nach Endemai bietet man noch 11 Abendsrennen,während des ganzen Sommer Das beträgt insgesam 14 Tage und Nächte. Jedes Treffen hat eine einige Identität, das ermöglicht einen grossen Zuschauer- Anteil. Freitagabend dem 27.06.08. feiert The Midsummer. Am Nächsten Samstag, der 28.06.08. findet The Funday oder Erholungstag statt. Sehr beliebt sind auch die Nächte von „Dressed to Impress.Während der Abendjuli und Samstags wird die Mode besonders betont für die Leute die an die Rennen teilnehmen.

Haydock

Die Pferderennbahn Haydock führt ganzjährig vor tausenden Zuschauern Pferdrennen durch. Die Rennen sind ein attraktives Schausspiel das die ganze Familie geniessen kann.Jährlich werden hier ungefährt 30 Rennen durchgeführt.

Golf

Die 137. jährige Meisterschaft“ Open of Gold“findet dieses Jahr vom 17.bis 20. Juli in the Royal Birdsdale statt. Quest'anno, il 137 Campionato Open di Golf si celebrerà al Royal Birkdale tra i il 17 e il 20 Luglio. Quest'evento molto popolare, avrà una grandissima assistenza degli amanti di questo sport e le sue celebrità. Tennis

Ogni anno, il Torneo di Tennis di Liverpool si svolge nel Parco Caulderstones. Quest'anno l'evento si celebra tra il 10 e il 15 Giugno.
